1. These terms and conditions apply to all offers, assignments, services, communications, advice, acceptances, deliveries, performances, activities and further agreements of Driving School Haneman, except where and insofar as the driving school has declared otherwise in writing.
2. In all cases where the driving school deviates from any provision of these general terms and conditions, the remaining provisions shall remain fully in force.
3. All offers are without obligation. The driving school is only bound after promises made by the driving school have been confirmed in writing.
4. Every assignment or registration confirmed by the driving school to the student shall be regarded by me as binding unless the confirmation is contested in writing within 5 days after receipt.
5. The applicability of any general terms and conditions of the student is expressly rejected.
The driving school is obliged to ensure that:
1. the driving lesson is given by a qualified instructor who meets the requirements set out in the Dutch Motor Vehicle Driving Instruction Act (WRM);
2. the full duration of the lesson is used for the benefit of driving instruction;
3. the student is given sufficient opportunity to practice in a comparable car to the one used for the examination;
4. the application for the driving test is actually submitted by the driving school to the competent authority, upon payment of the applicable fees and submission of the required documents, no later than three weeks after the date on which it has been decided in consultation with the student that the driving test can be requested and on which the student has paid the costs of the examination to the driving school;
5. all necessary business insurance policies are in place;
6. the student is informed that as soon as there is a disqualification from driving motor vehicles, he/she must notify the driving school.
1. The student is obliged to follow all instructions of the instructor during the driving lessons.
2. The student must adhere to the agreed time, date and location for the driving lesson and, in the event of non-attendance at the agreed lesson time without timely cancellation, must pay the full lesson price.
3. If the student arrives late, the lesson duration will be shortened by the amount of time the student was late. In that case, the full lesson time must still be paid for.
4. In the event of absence, the student must notify the driving school in good time and at least 24 hours before the lesson. In that case, no charges will be made and another appointment for the lesson will be scheduled.
5. A driving lesson cancelled within 24 hours may be charged in full.
6. For the application for the practical exam and the interim test, the student must authorize the driving school via www.cbr.nl to confirm the reservation of the examination.
7. Before starting the training, the student must provide all relevant information about his/her medical and/or psychological situation and the use of medication, alcohol and/or drugs that may affect the lessons and driving ability or driving entitlement.
8. The student must ensure that he/she has the necessary documents for the practical and theory exams of the competent authority. The driving school is not liable for the consequences if the student cannot take the exam due to the absence of the required documents.
9. If there is a disqualification from driving motor vehicles, the student is obliged to report this to the driving school. If the student fails to mention this, the driving school is not liable.
1. Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, the student is obliged to pay the agreed amount for the driving training in cash. The costs of study and lesson books or lesson materials for practical and/or theory lessons must be paid in cash upon delivery, unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
2. The driving school is entitled to adjust the lesson price during the term of the lesson agreement. In that case, the student has the right to terminate the lesson agreement and may exercise this right up to 2 weeks after becoming aware of the price change.
3. If a driving lesson is not paid in cash to the instructor, the student will receive an invoice. If this invoice is not paid within fourteen days, the student will be in default without further notice of default. In the event of default, the student owes interest of 5% per month, calculated from the due date of the invoice.
4. If, after a reminder, the student remains in default of payment of the amount due, the amount will be increased by collection costs. The collection costs include both judicial and extrajudicial costs. The extrajudicial costs amount to 20% of the amount due.
5. In the event of late payment by the student, the driving school has the right to suspend or terminate the relevant agreement and all further agreements concluded between the parties but not or only partially executed, or to consider them terminated without judicial intervention and without prejudice to the right to claim compensation for damages, lost profit and interest.
6. The student can then no longer derive any rights from that agreement, while any payment arrangements lapse and payment for all work already carried out becomes immediately and fully due. Any agreed discounts shall also lapse.
1. Unless expressly agreed otherwise, the costs of the examination application must be paid to the driving school simultaneously with or prior to the application.
2. If the driving test does not take place due to the student’s holiday, the student bears the responsibility for the costs, unless the holiday period was specified in writing to the driving school at the time of the exam application.
3. After oral or written notification, the driving school is entitled to pass on interim price changes for the practical examination implemented by the CBR.
1. If the practical examination cannot take place due to the absence of the student because he/she failed to provide unavailable dates in writing when applying for the exam, the student bears all resulting costs.
2. If the competent authority does not allow the driving test to proceed on the agreed date and time due to bad weather conditions, a new date will be scheduled in consultation with him/her.
3. If the student has insufficient driving skills, the driving school may decide to refuse or postpone the exam.
1. If the agreement has not been entered into for a number of lessons, both the driving school and the student have the right to terminate the lesson agreement prematurely. If an amount has been paid in advance, the student in that case has the right to a refund of any prepayment, minus the examination fee already paid to the competent authority, lessons already taken and administration costs.
2. If the agreement has been entered into for a fixed number of lessons or a fixed period, the student may terminate it only for such urgent reasons that it cannot reasonably be expected that he/she continues it, subject to payment of the lesson price of one lesson hour increased by the administration costs. If the amount has been paid in full in advance, the driving school shall refund the amount due reduced by the examination fee paid by him/her plus the lessons already taken and administration costs.
3. The driving school may only terminate the lesson agreement for such urgent reasons that it cannot reasonably be expected to continue it, while repaying to the student those lesson fees for which the driving school has not yet performed.
4. The agreement shall be dissolved immediately in the event of the death of the student.
5. Upon termination of the lesson agreement, the student is in all cases entitled to a refund of examination fees paid to the driving school in the amount of the rate set by the competent authority, insofar as the driving school has not yet transferred these funds to that authority. Only for examinations reserved in the student’s name does the right to a refund lapse.
The driving school indemnifies the student against claims from third parties resulting from collisions, hitting or running over something during the driving lesson, and also during the practical exam unless;
The student behaves in such a way that, despite the instructor’s intervention, the traffic violation or collision occurs;
the student is under the influence of narcotics, alcohol, or medicines that may affect driving ability during the lesson and after a traffic violation or collision it appears that this was the case;
the student has been disqualified from driving and has concealed this.
the student has provided incorrect information or concealed information about medical limitations.
The liability of the driving school is at all times limited to the amount for which insurance is in place and for which actual cover is provided. The driving school is never liable for any indirect costs and/or damages arising from or related to the lesson agreement.

Unused driving lessons are always refunded.
Yes, you are fully insured in the lesson car.
If you become ill, you will not immediately lose your driving lesson. I apply a cancellation period of 24 hours in advance. Unexpected illness can happen once. No cancellation means the lesson is lost.
No problem, we will work on this together and with an interim test (TTT) we can already solve a lot. With a good foundation, you will become much more confident.
You can pay in instalments or in cash before the start of your driving lesson.
Each new instalment must be received before the start of a new lesson period.
You can pay in a maximum of 4 instalments.
Driving School Haneman does not have an automatic car in its vehicle fleet.
A lot is possible in consultation. Discuss your wishes and what you would like to learn. I think in solutions and possibilities.
For every new student who purchases a package and starts driving with me, you will receive one free lesson yourself. So 3 new students means 3 lessons for you. These new students must have paid and mention your name to me.
Driving lessons can be taken in Meppel and the surrounding area. My driving lessons will as much as possible be given according to the pick-up and drop-off method. After all, this way you drive the full 60 minutes. In addition, as a passenger you also learn a lot.
